Our History
SML International Education Services Co., Ltd, Yangon, Myanmar has applied for registration on 22nd August 2016 and has been approved by Myanmar Companies Act 1914 on 22nd December 2018 (Reg. No. 112542388).
The aim of the company is to affiliate with international universities and colleges for the establishment of private technological college related with professional education in business management, economics, medical laboratory technology and biotechnology.
The permit for SML University of Health Sciences, Management, and Technology has been issued by Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) on 29 May, 2020 (Permit No. 259/2020) after approval by Ministry of Health and Sports and Ministry of Education, Government of Myanmar. Then, the university has been registered to National Education Policy Commission (NEPC) of Myanmar on 29 July, 2020.
The first batch of Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management were started in August, 2022.
The university has been registered again in 10th October 2024 to the Ministry of Education. All the private universities have been permitted as colleges and thus our institution has been named as SML College.”
