About The Course...

The course provides the students to have a basic knowledge on major structures (Human Anatomy), functions (Human Physiology), biochemical reactions (Biochemistry), infections (Microbiology) and pathological aspects (Pathology) of the human body and their applications in Medical Imaging Technology.

They shall be exposed to medical technologies useful for radio-imaging in the diagnosis of various diseases of human.

The students shall be able to communicate and prepare patients ethically for various radio-imaging procedures, which shall be performed by them skilfully.

The course provides an insight into the conventional radiology as well as modern medical imaging equipment and techniques such as computed radiography, digital radiography, macro-radiography, picture archival communications system (PACS), computing, networking, image acquisition and workflow.
